NPD Engineering Manager I Job Posting Location: Allen, TX; Grand Prairie, TX. Posting Start Date: 4/14/26 Req Id: 7615 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Remote/Onsite/Hybrid: Hybrid Position Description This leadership position is responsible for managing a team of product engineering supervisors, engineers, and designers. The core focus is to oversee all design activities and outputs, ensuring departmental resources are prioritized and utilized effectively on a global scale. The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, establishing and standardizing best practices and technical specifications, and interfacing with other departments at a management level to ensure clear communication and alignment. Additionally, the position is responsible for training, development, and performance evaluation of subordinates to foster growth and optimize team performance. Key Responsibilities Managing product engineering supervisors, engineers, and designers. Overseeing design activity and output of the group, monitoring and communicating globally, and adjusting departmental activities and resources to meet product group needs. Developing and maintaining customer and supplier relationships, including visits and presentations. Establishing best practices and global standardization of design, engineering, and related technical specifications and procedures. Interfacing at a management level with all other departments to ensure expectations are clearly communicated. Coordinating and evaluating training for subordinates to ensure optimal employee growth and performance.
