About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Quality Officer (CQO) to lead the unification and advancement of quality and safety strategy within its integrated health system. This pivotal role involves shaping a consistent, systemwide standard of clinical excellence, particularly during a period of transformation and growth. The CQO will be responsible for establishing a unified vision for quality, reducing variation across the legacy organizations, and driving alignment around evidence-based care delivery. Key priorities for the CQO include standardizing care models, advancing data-driven performance improvement, and strengthening regulatory readiness. The successful candidate will be a visible and credible leader, capable of influencing across a matrixed organization, and will work in close partnership with operational leaders to ensure that clinical priorities are aligned with operational and financial goals. The ideal candidate for the CQO position at the company will have a proven track record in leading quality transformation within a complex, multi-site health system, with a focus on integration and scale. Deep expertise in quality metrics, CMS performance frameworks, and patient safety is essential. A Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree and/or medical degree, along with additional training in public health, healthcare administration, or quality improvement. The role demands a leader who can foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and who can inspire others to take ownership of quality across the organization. The CQO will be instrumental in the company's mission to amplify empathy in healthcare, bringing together clinical excellence, compassion, and innovation to improve outcomes across the continuum.
