Junior Interior Designer

Cornerstone Interiors is seeking a part-time Junior Interior Designer / Billing Specialist to join our Indianapolis team. Cornerstone is a full-service residential and select commercial interior design firm founded in 1986. This hybrid position supports our designers throughout the project process while also managing important client-billing responsibilities. Schedule and compensation Approximately 24 hours per week $18-$22 per hour, based on experience Primarily on-site in Indianapolis Anticipated start in late 2026, with training overlap preferred Design and project responsibilities Create and maintain accurate project master binders Document field measurements and existing conditions Produce and update as-built CAD drawings Support senior designers in completing scopes of work Submit and track purchase orders Secure vendor lead times and communicate updates to the project manager Assist senior designers with client and vendor communication Review and compile monthly design time in QuickBooks Secure designer approval for time and other billable charges Prepare consolidated client billing statements Track product deposits and final-payment milestones Prepare and send monthly client statements Qualifications Interior design education or relevant professional experience preferred QuickBooks or billing experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and documentation accurately Professional, dependable, and comfortable working within a small collaborative team #J-18808-Ljbffr
