Business Analysis Advisor - Retail Bank Operations

Position Overview The scope of Retail Bank Operations is impressively broad and encompasses a wide range of critical functions. These include managing the cash needs for our branch and ATM networks, printing and mailing important bank documents, and handling both inbound and outbound collections for home lending, automobile, and card services. Additionally, Retail Bank Operations focuses on loan mitigation and investor operations, developing process improvement and automation opportunities, overseeing the daily processing of cash and check deposits, bill payments, and executes strategic quality management functions. As a Business Analysis Advisor, you will be within the Retail Bank Operations organization, supporting the Bank Operations Business Information Management team. You will be based in either Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. You will be responsible for supporting reconciliation of various payment products within Bank Operations. Preferred skills include organisation and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet daily deadlines for multiple projects. This is a collaborative role with various internal and external service partners, with a focus on business requirement accuracy and completeness. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate strong attention to detail, work effectively with minimal supervision, and lead meetings, discussions, and working sessions. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and translate abstract concepts into actionable processes and solutions. Leverage experience working with General Ledger (GL) processes, preferred but not required. Utilise Agile methodologies and practices, preferred but not required. Employ Microsoft Excel skills to support analysis and reporting, preferred but not required. Exhibit strong risk awareness. Direct the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements. Participate in development and review of complex processes and procedures, workflow analytics and reporting. Provide senior level consultation and communicate with clients and technology teams on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project goals and objectives. Consult and recommend frameworks, methodologies and processes involved in business requirements traceability for business analysis teams. Mentor, lead, and coach other associates to affect knowledge transfer. Oversee development and maintenance of all applicable policy and procedure documentation. Translate business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. Communicate with senior level stakeholders and technology teams on complex business requirements. Lead multiple business analysis project management processes through planning, quality assurance and effectiveness assessment. Provide direction for successful deployment of projects. Drive development, analysis and distribution of complex reporting. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
