OB Hospitalist in Central Connecticut - Academic

The most comprehensive, integrated health care system in the state of Connecticut has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced OB-GYN to provide services as an OB Laborist.
About the Opportunity:
- 12-hour and 24-hour inpatient shifts available
- 868-bed tertiary academic center with a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU
- This site is responsible for the training of the 40 OB-GYN residents
- Provide call coverage and L&D support
- Care for inpatient OB and GYN patients and provide OB and GYN consultations on the floor and in the Emergency Department
- Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives, or advanced practice nurses
- Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team
- Member of patient safety and quality review committees
- Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine
- Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology
