Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer – Miami, Florida Assignment Overview Start Date: July 27, 2026 Duration: 16 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days, 8‑hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) On‑Call: Rotating 3‑week schedule, Monday–Sunday Travel: May be required to travel between cardiology clinic locations for fetal imaging coverage Responsibilities Perform complex congenital and fetal echocardiograms independently in a pediatric cardiology setting Assist with special and invasive cardiac procedures Analyze imaging data and present findings to cardiologists and physicians Collaborate with cardiologists regarding fetal echocardiogram findings and educate patients and families about procedures Maintain echocardiography equipment and support quality improvement initiatives Requirements 7–10 years of cardiac clinical ultrasound experience Experience independently performing pediatric and congenital echocardiograms RDCS or RCS credential, or registry eligibility through ARDMS or CCI Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Associate Degree in Allied Health or related field, completion of a 2–4 year Diagnostic Ultrasound program, or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Ability to work effectively in high‑acuity environments Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years License required if applicable Additional Information ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) credential preferred Minimum 2 years of fetal echocardiography experience preferred All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration Full 7‑year work history with all gaps explained is required Compensation & Benefits Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined Housing stipend, health, dental, vision, and life insurance beginning day one 401(k) match and 24/7 support with in‑house clinicians Job ID: P-728433 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
