Assistant Store Manager

Company Overview WB Liquors is a Texas-based family-owned liquor store with extensive selection of liquor, beer, wine, and spirits since the 1960s. Our goal is to provide customers with quality products and exceptional customer service. Complete required new hire information. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Motivate and challenge store-level employees. Communicate employee, customer, and product complaints to supervisor. Assist Store Manager in controlling direct operating expenses. Coordinate staffing and scheduling. Assist in payroll processes. Complete daily paperwork, computer entry, and bank deposits. Maintain acceptable Store Image and Marketing/Merchandise standards. Participate in shrink control practices and review inventory audit recaps. Implement product promotions and programs to achieve objectives. Post store-level POS advertising and signage. Monitor retail prices for pricing accuracy. Support store and cooler resets. Check cameras, DVRs, and monitors. Enforce and adhere to all industry law regulations and company policy (e.g., TABC/DMV/Law Enforcement). Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain a clear driving record. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year retail experience. 2 years of management experience. PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver’s license and insurable. WB Liquors is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
