CMM Operator / Programmer Location: Tulsa, OK Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Day Shift PAY: $23-$28 CMM Operator / Programmer - Must-Have Requirements Minimum 2 years of CMM operation and programming experience Zeiss G2 5-axis CMM experience preferred Strong knowledge of GD&T Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Experience with Calypso Familiarity with Catia annotation Experience programming CMM equipment from engineering drawings and specifications Experience with precision measuring equipment and layout inspections Manufacturing inspection experience Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Experience working within an AS9100 quality management system preferred Experience with calibration systems CMM programming/operator certification required CMM Operator / Programmer - Position Summary The CMM Operator / Programmer is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machines to verify manufactured components meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. This position will develop and execute CMM programs, perform dimensional inspections, interpret GD&T and engineering documentation, and provide accurate inspection results to support manufacturing and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong CMM programming experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex engineering requirements and translate them into accurate inspection programs. CMM Operator / Programmer - Essential Duties & Responsibilities Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect manufactured components Develop CMM programs based on engineering drawings, models, and specifications Operate Zeiss G2 5-axis CMM equipment Use Calypso software to create, modify, and execute inspection programs Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and Catia annotations Perform dimensional and layout inspections Determine appropriate inspection methods and measurement requirements Verify parts meet dimensional and engineering specifications Analyze CMM inspection results and identify discrepancies Document inspection results accurately Maintain inspection records and required quality documentation Enter inspection information and time into JobBOSS Ensure CMM equipment and precision measuring equipment are properly maintained Monitor calibration requirements and report equipment issues Assist with identifying and resolving dimensional or manufacturing issues Communicate inspection findings with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel Assist with nonconformance investigations and corrective actions when needed Prioritize inspection workloads to support production schedules and prevent delays Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area CMM Operator / Programmer - Additional Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of CMM programming and operation experience Minimum 2 years of manufacturing inspection experience preferred Zeiss G2 5-axis experience strongly preferred Calypso programming experience preferred Strong GD&T knowledge Catia annotation experience preferred Experience with AS9100 quality systems preferred Knowledge of calibration systems and requirements Experience using precision measuring equipment NDT Level I, II, or III certification in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection is preferred but not required Weld Inspector certification is preferred but not required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and prioritize workload Strong communication skills CMM Operator / Programmer - Physical and Environmental Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to move throughout a manufacturing environment Ability to work around machinery, noise, metal parts, and typical manufacturing conditions Ability to safely handle precision inspection equipment and manufactured components #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Employment
