FYZICAL Therapy & Balance – Fort Smith, AR

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance in Fort Smith is looking for a Physical Therapy Technician to join our locally owned outpatient physical therapy team.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, energetic, and enjoys helping people . You don't have to know everything about physical therapy—we can teach you the clinical skills. What matters most is that you care about people, are willing to learn, and want to be part of a team that takes pride in the care we provide.

What You'll Do

• Assist our physical therapists and patients during treatment sessions
• Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
• Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment
• Assist with hot/cold modalities and other treatment activities as directed
• Keep the clinic organized, clean, and welcoming
• Help patients feel comfortable and encouraged throughout their visits
• Work closely with our PTs and the rest of our team to provide a great patient experience
• Learn about a variety of physical therapy specialties, including orthopedic, vestibular, balance, concussion, and pelvic health rehabilitation

• Friendly and comfortable interacting with people of all ages
• Dependable and willing to jump in wherever needed
• A good communicator and team player
• Comfortable being active and on your feet throughout the day
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
• Compassionate and patient with people who may be hurting, frustrated, or nervous
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
• Interested in healthcare, physical therapy, exercise science, or a related field.

Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
