Located at 10000 Town Center Ave, B, in Columbia, MD, we’re seeking skilled and enthusiastic baristas to join our team and help us deliver exceptional coffee experiences.

As a barista at Qamaria Yemeni Coffee, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, crafting delicious beverages and creating memorable moments for our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Welcome customers, understand their coffee preferences, take orders accurately, and process payments using the register.
• Present and explain the menu, answer product questions, and share the story and traditions of Yemeni coffee.
• Prepare and serve traditional Yemeni beverages, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other menu items according to established recipes and preparation techniques.
• Maintain inventory by replenishing coffee beans and stocking brewing supplies, pastries, and other coffee bar items.
• Keep equipment operating properly by following training procedures and performing routine preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by following company standards and sanitation regulations.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cups, and saucers using proper cleaning and sanitation techniques.
• Keep the workspace, coffee bar, and customer seating areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Use customer feedback to improve beverage quality, service, and the overall guest experience.
• Maintain and improve the appearance of the store and coffee bar.
• Work closely with team members to support efficient service throughout each shift.

We’re searching for candidates who are passionate about coffee and customer service. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• No experience required but prior Barista experience strongly preferred.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• A willingness to learn and share knowledge about Yemeni coffee traditions.
