Applications Developer

Overview TEKsystems is looking for an experienced and results-driven Applications Developer to join our Program Management Office (PMO) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in the development and delivery of tools, capabilities, and dashboards to support program managers and leadership across SMS. The successful candidate will utilize their tool administration and SharePoint expertise to develop innovative software solutions that align with business objectives and stakeholder needs. To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SharePoint Online, Power Platform, system administration, and database management. Responsibilities Develop and maintain SharePoint Online sites and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Build and update Power Apps (Canvas/Model-driven) and Power Automate flows based on established requirements. Reconstruct or enhance workflow logic previously built in Nintex, using provided mappings and specifications. Implement SharePoint Online components such as lists, libraries, content structures, permissions, and UI customizations. Perform basic to intermediate SPFx development (React/TypeScript) when needed to meet functional requirements. Make iterative updates quickly as feedback is provided by the internal technical lead. Provide development support during migration and stabilization periods. Prepare solution materials and handoff documentation for end-user ownership. Troubleshoot issues and assist with post-deployment stabilization. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Required Skills and Experience BS/BA in a related field plus 2 or more years related experience. Master’s Degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school accredited by a US recognized agency. Proficient in SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate. Excellent commitment to customer service. Ability to think analytically, solve problems, make decisions, and collaborate and work with a team. Ability to juggle competing demands and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with Nintex and/or moving from SharePoint on premises to SharePoint Online. Experience with databases, cloud computing, SaaS, Gov Cloud, and On-Premise environments. Experience with Microsoft Power BI and data visualization software. Experience with JSON/HTML/CSS or other software language. Familiarity with Dataverse, Azure Functions, or Logic Apps. Aerospace, defense, or regulated environments experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broomfield, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.73 - $43.73/hr.
