A loving, kind, and busy family relocating from Pittsburgh, PA to Boca Raton, FL is seeking a versatile, trustworthy, and nurturing Housekeeper/Nanny to become an integral part of their household. The family has been fortunate to have the same beloved nanny for nearly eight years, and she will be joining them in Boca Raton for the first month or two to help with the transition before returning to Pittsburgh. The family values a laid-back and easygoing atmosphere, creating a warm and happy environment for both children and staff. The role offers the opportunity to support the family by providing attentive childcare, housekeeping, and occasional cooking, all while contributing to a positive and flexible daily routine.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaged, and loving care for two children, prioritizing their safety, happiness, and well-being
• Assist with school pick-ups, activity transportation, playdates, and community activities
• Utilize community golf cart to take children to neighborhood amenities, including the clubhouse, tennis clinics, golf activities, and more
• Supervise swimming and pool activities (strong swimming skills required)
• Prepare children's meals, snacks, lunches, and assist with light family meal preparation
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the home, including housekeeping, laundry, tidying, and organizational projects while the children are in school
• Run errands, oversee service providers and maintenance appointments, and assist with occasional household hosting needs
• Travel with the family as needed, both domestically and potentially internationally
• Be available for occasional overnight care when parents travel

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a similar nanny, nanny/housekeeper, or housekeeper/nanny role within a private household
• Outstanding references
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong swimmer comfortable supervising children in and around the pool
• Comfortable with pets
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Flexible schedule and availability for occasional overnight care, providing comfort to the parents knowing their kids are in great care!

Additional Information

• The family offers two weeks of PTO annually, with one week selected by the employee and one week selected by the family. Interviews will begin as soon as qualified candidates are identified. Trials are expected to take place in early August after the family's move to Florida. Candidates should be aware that the anticipated start date is early-late September, though an earlier start may be considered for an exceptional fit.
