Endocrinologist Opportunity

Parkland Health Center and BJC Medical Group are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join a growing, patient-focused practice serving a large and expanding patient population throughout southeast Missouri.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish and grow a comprehensive endocrinology practice backed by a strong primary care referral network, robust hospital resources, and significant unmet community demand. With more than 40,000 patients meeting diabetic criteria within the service area, physicians have the opportunity to make an immediate impact while building a thriving practice.

• Minimal inpatient responsibilities
• Telemedicine and virtual practice options available
• Epic EMR with remote access capabilities
• Diabetes educator, pharmacists, laboratory services, and hospital resources available on campus
• Opportunity for a 4-day workweek (negotiable)

Clinical Scope

Physicians may treat a broad range of endocrine disorders, including:

• Diabetes
• Thyroid disorders
• Metabolic conditions
• Calcium and bone disorders
• Osteoporosis
• Obesity medicine
• Adrenal disorders
• Lipid disorders

Procedures

• Ultrasound
• Biopsy procedures

Schedule

• 1.0 FTE position
• 36 patient-facing hours per week
• Primarily outpatient practice
• Minimal inpatient rounding

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive two-year guaranteed salary
• $30,000 signing bonus
