Job Description\n Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/21/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, flexible\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2440\n $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS\n \n Opportunity:\n RN - PACU\n Job Details:\n • Variable 4x10 shifts with start times of 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 9:00 AM\n • 40 hours per week\n • 13-week contract\n • Weekend on-call every 5th weekend with a 30-minute response time\n • Holiday rotation required\n • One night per week on-call for 4 weeks out of every 6-week schedule\n • Call shift start time is 11:00 AM\n • Call back minimum of 2 hours\n • May be placed on low census/on-call status\n • 1:2 patient ratio with approximately 35 patients per day across 14 bays\n • Primary cases include general surgery, spine and neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, peripheral vascular, and orthopedics\n • Must be able to stabilize ICU patients prior to transfer\n • Minimum 2+ years of PACU experience required\n • Recent hospital experience required; post cardiac and pediatric experience needed\n • Epic experience strongly preferred; previous electronic charting experience required if no Epic experience\n • Required certifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS\n • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred\n • Scrubs of any color permitted\n Facility:\n This hospital is a full-service regional medical center offering a wide range of surgical and critical care services. The PACU unit consists of 14 bays and supports a high volume of diverse surgical cases including general surgery, spine, neurology, cardiac, and orthopedics.
