A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a community hospital with approximately 150 beds near Lewiston, ID. This role offers the chance to support a dynamic hospital pharmacy team and provide essential pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting.

Contract Details:

• Duration: Approximately 13 weeks
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Schedule: Variable days or afternoon shifts, 8-hour shifts preferred. Potential flexibility for 7on/7off, 10-hour day or afternoon shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for safety and accuracy
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consult with physicians and healthcare staff regarding medication therapies and pharmacokinetics
• Participate in clinical pharmacy services and support patient care initiatives

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Idaho pharmacist license or ability and willingness to obtain it quickly
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude to work effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Knowledge of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy practices
