Job Summary
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Nurse needed for a facility in Hartford. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a medical, rehabilitation, and respiratory environment for patients with complex needs, including ventilated and tracheostomy cases. The position starts on September 28, 2026, and requires working night shifts with every other weekend commitment.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN needed for Hartford Satellite Campus Medical, Rehab, Respiratory. The unit maintains patient ratios of 1:5-8, averaging 6 or 7. May float to similar units at a nearby campus, including Respiratory Care Unit/Respiratory Step Down, Medically Complex Rehabilitation, and TBI units.
• Required Qualifications: RN license with 3 years of experience, prior travel experience preferred. Experience with respiratory/vented patients is strongly preferred. Must be able to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Nurses are responsible for IV starts, drips, blood administration, EKGs, medication titrations, glucose monitoring, wound vac changes, wound dressings, trach care, suctioning, straight catheters, Foley care, port access, central line dressings, and wound measurements. Experience with respiratory/vented patients is highly valued.
