Registered Nurse - Emergency Dept

Position Purpose The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Emergency Department to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. Must be authorized to work in the United States without a work visa or sponsorship. Employment Type and Shift Full time. Shift: Various. What You Will Do Using the Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates fundamental patient/family information to the health care team. Minimum Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State. BLS certification AHA; additional life support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred.
