Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans, ensuring treatment goals align with each patient's rehabilitation objectives.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, tailoring approaches based on patients' progress and response.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting outcomes and modifying treatment plans in real-time to optimize effectiveness.
• Educate patients on exercise techniques, proper body mechanics, and strategies to enhance their recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Keep accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, to facilitate high-quality patient documentation and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our orthopedic department, you will engage primarily with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will be critical in aiding a diverse patient demographic, including athletes, post-operative patients, and older adults aiming for improved mobility and pain reduction.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• A valid and current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic setting is mandatory to ensure a deep understanding of rehabilitation processes and protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
