Job DescriptionThe University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for temporary/on-call Retail Associates at Duncan Student Center in our Campus Dining department. The UOES division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations. Temporary Retail Associate This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service for our guests while ensuring a clean, fast and friendly multi-unit environment. Key Responsibilities (Chick-Fil-A)Accurately follow the daily production lists per Chick-Fil-A brand trainingPrepare foodStock and load vans for deliveriesPrep upcoming orders/work in a high volume quick service locationWash dishes, and maintain eating areas within unitPerform all tasks relating to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilitiesKey Responsibilities (Hagerty Café and ABP)Assist guests and exceed expectations while working at a fast-paced dining establishmentAssist with preparation of food as neededStock and rotation of food inventoriesOperate order and point of sale equipmentQualificationsAvailable to work during home football gamesCapable of managing time effectively with minimal supervisionPositive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skillsAbility to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food productsAdditional InformationSchedule: 11AM-9PM Must be available to work during home football games.Pay Rate: $17.50/hrThe University of Notre Dame seeks to attract, develop, and retain the highest quality faculty, staff and administration.
