Pest Control Consultant

About the Role The Pest Control Consultant’s primary purpose is to sell the company's industry‑leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers, while maintaining a customer‑focused service to grow the business. You’ll be the face of our national brand to your local community, protecting their homes and families through expert product and service knowledge. Responsibilities Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries. Based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions as well as preventative maintenance for residential customers. Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians for increased opportunities. Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue streams with the current customer base and service specialist engagements. Develop proposals for customers to resolve existing pest issues while proposing additional enhancements to household services. Complete a Home diagram using the Sales CRM and provide it to ensure clear understanding of the customer’s home and possible challenges. Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities. Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure the job is completed satisfactorily. Complete daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM. Physical Demands Move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects. Regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; walk, stand, or crouch on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces. Ascend and descend stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. Operate a motor vehicle safely and maintain it and all other equipment clean. Occasionally use personal protective equipment such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways with pests. Be comfortable dealing with spiders, flies, mosquitoes, rodents, and other common pests. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license from the current state of residence. Strong social, customer service, and communication skills. Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience. Travel up to 100% of time within the assigned territory. Pay Base Pay Range: Hourly $20.00 – $26.00. Starting pay falls within this range and can vary based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
