Position Details
- Location: Pasadena, CA 91107
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shift: Day Shift
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience
- Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
- Current BLS Certification
- Epic EMR experience required
- Strong venipuncture skills
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for provider examinations
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Record patient history, medications, and allergies
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with orthopedic procedures
- Support casting applications and dressing changes
- Administer immunizations and injections as directed
- Perform urine specimen collection and testing
- Coordinate follow-up care and patient communications
- Maintain accurate patient documentation within Epic
