- Perform comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical workups
- Interpret imaging and laboratory results and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry
- Prescribe medications and maintain controlled substance protocols
- Communicate clearly with clients and provide education to support shared decision-making
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinical standards
- Collaborate with a skilled team, support efficient workflows, and participate in daily rounds
- Contribute to protocol improvements, training, and overall hospital quality initiatives
- Additional duties as assigned Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active California veterinary license (or ability to obtain before start)
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills with a commitment to low-stress, high-quality care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
