The role calls for a hands-on strategic thinker who can partner with executives, support clinicians, and deliver reliable systems in a fast-paced care environment.ResponsibilitiesShape and execute a technology strategy that supports business objectives, operational efficiency, and high-quality patient care.Direct the planning and delivery of infrastructure, hardware, software, and platform improvements across the organization.Manage and develop the IT team, setting priorities, mentoring staff, and fostering strong execution across daily support and strategic initiatives.Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, backup processes, disaster recovery readiness, and regulatory compliance within a healthcare setting.Evaluate current systems and recommend practical technology investments, including build-versus-buy decisions that improve performance and reduce unnecessary expense.Partner with executive, operational, and clinical stakeholders to translate technical priorities into business-focused solutions.Lead complex cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and implementation goals are met.Support and optimize healthcare imaging and workflow technologies, including PACS and related radiology systems where applicable.Establish standards for system configuration, maintenance, and reliability across networks, servers, and user-facing technology.Promote continuous improvement by assessing emerging tools and encouraging ongoing skill development within the IT function.
