Responsibilities include: Assisting in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics Educating pet parents with compassion and clarity Ensuring accurate medical documentation and patient histories Promoting low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction Mentoring assistants and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence What We’re Looking For in a Veterinary Technician Saturday and Sunday availability; this is a weekend-only role 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Florida Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus, and we’ll pay for it) Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow Join a Team That’s Changing the Game At Petfolk, we’re reshaping veterinary care by blending high-quality medicine with a welcoming, connected experience for pets, their families, and the professionals who care for them. #J-18808-Ljbffr
