Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

This opportunity is a per diem position with a convenient schedule of 6am-12pm at Wellington Regional Medical Center, located in Wellington, Florida. Wellington Regional is a 235-bed acute care hospital owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Wellington Regional Medical Center is looking for Pharmacy Technicians who, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in various activities of the pharmacy department. Pharmacy Technicians prepare and distribute medications, maintain the drug inventory, and maintain records. They function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Technical school, 2 years of college, or an associate degree is preferred. Pharmacy Tech certification is preferred. A Florida Pharmacy Tech license is required. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Excellent computer skills are required.
