As a Product Engineer, supporting our Manufacturing Engineering Team, you will be trusted with the manufacturing production process engineering focusing on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods at Houston, Texas US.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
• Leading various Product Configuration Management projects, as well as supporting MS&T projects centered on cost reductions, business continuity, quality improvements.
• Managing new material setup lifecycle and changes to existing materials.
• Managing SAP material set-up/documentation/maintenance.
• Managing Bill of Material/Router set up and maintenance.
• Troubleshooting SAP material master and manufacturing related issues.
• Serving as Deputy Local Data Steward for Material Master.
• Approving manufacturing drawings to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
• Leading/Assisting with various software validations related to MES systems.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Work hours: Monday through Friday / 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
