This individual will foster meaningful relationships with children and families, mentor classroom team members, and ensure compliance with South Carolina DSS licensing requirements and Academy policies. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities. Create an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators. Observe and document children's developmental progress. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety. Supervise and support Teacher Assistants. Communicate professionally with families regarding children's growth and daily experiences. Maintain accurate attendance and classroom documentation. Follow all DSS regulations and Kingdom Kidz Academy policies. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Experience working with young children. Strong communication and organizational skills. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare center. Ability to pass all required background checks. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day. Preferred Early Childhood Credential or degree. CPR/First Aid Certification. Early Childhood Credential (ECD 101 or equivalent). Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
