Final Filing Date: 8/20/2026 Job Description and Duties Under general direction of the Deputy Director of the Law Enforcement Division (Division) within the Department of Cannabis Control (Department), the Supervisor II provides leadership, direction, and strategic oversight to the Law Enforcement Support Branch (Branch). The incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, implementing, and evaluating Branch operations, administrative programs and statewide operational priorities to support functions for the Division. This includes but is not limited to: budgeting, personnel management, policy development, operational planning, workload management, and program accountability to ensure alignment with Department and Division objectives. Department Website: Special Requirements The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired. Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI). - Title 11, section 703 (d) of the California Code of Regulations requires criminal record checks of all personnel who have access to CORI. Pursuant to this requirement, applicants for this position will be required to submit fingerprints to the Department of Justice and be cleared before hiring. In accordance with DCA's CORI procedures, clearance shall be maintained while employed in a CORI-designated position. Additionally, the position routinely works with sensitive and confidential issues and/or materials and is expected to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of documents and topics pertaining to individuals or to sensitive program matters at all times.
