Eye Catchers Optical LLC in Boardman, OH is looking for a motivated and personable Optometric Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable office experience

Assist the optometrist with preliminary eye exams and pre-testing procedures

Perform basic diagnostic tests such as tonometry, autorefraction, and retinal photography

Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories

Help patients select frames and lenses, providing optical dispensing support

Schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage front desk operations

Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and optical equipment

Requirements:

Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred

Familiarity with optical dispensing, contact lenses, or vision care is a plus

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment

Proficiency with EHR/practice management software or willingness to learn

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

High school diploma or equivalent required
