Job Description

Informatica Developer Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related tools.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Familiarity with Informatica Cloud, IICS, or other cloud-based ETL tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting and job scheduling tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources (RDBMS, flat files, cloud platforms).
• Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot issues in production and development environments.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data flows.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work with scheduling tools (e.g., CA7, Control-M) to automate ETL jobs.
• Support data migration and integration projects across enterprise platforms.
