BC/BE Critical Care Intensivist Opportunity

University of Michigan Health Partners (UMHP) is seeking a full-time BC/BE Critical Care Intensivist to join its hospital-employed practice in Lansing, Michigan. UMHP delivers exceptional care in a diverse, family-friendly community and is dedicated to improving access to healthcare across Mid-Michigan.

Position Highlights:

• Closed critical care units providing 52 beds of state-of-the-art care to the patients of Mid-Michigan
• Intensivists provide 24-hour medical management for the sickest patients, with opportunities for procedures and fellow/resident/student teaching
• Flexible schedule - 12 hour shifts
• Night shift preferred
• Average census: 12-15 patients
• Advanced Practice Provider support
• Certified Stroke Center of Excellence | Level 1 Trauma Center
• EPIC EMR
• Located in a Big University city
• Recognized as a Top Performer in Quality Initiatives

Job Requirements:

General Requirements: Eligible for Board Certification within five (5) years of completing an accredited residency program

Education: MD or DO

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job.
