Quality Control Inspector

Partners Personnel Management

Position Summary:
The Quality Inspector will ensure that all materials and sub-assemblies meet quality standards and specifications before reaching customers. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections in a fast-paced server assembly environment, identifying defects, and supporting corrective actions. The ideal candidate is experienced in electronics or high-tech manufacturing , understands basic quality tools, and is comfortable working hands-on with server components and systems.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform incoming inspections of critical components for damage, quantity, and spec compliance
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections on server assemblies to verify proper build, function, and quality
  • Inspect for visual defects, proper labeling, torque, connector alignment, cable routing, and ESD compliance
  • Use inspection tools such as calipers, multimeters, and barcode scanners , and follow detailed work instructions
  • Accurately document inspection results, defects, and rework in the ERP or quality tracking systems
  • Identify and flag non-conforming material or product and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement
  • Assist with root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and quality alerts
  • Support internal audits and compliance with ISO, RBA, and ESD standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area following 5S and Lean practices

Minimum Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of quality inspection experience in electronics, computer hardware, or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with server components (motherboards, CPUs, memory, cabling, etc.) preferred
  • Basic understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation requirements
  • Experience using ERP/WMS or QMS systems for tracking inspections and inventory
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, technical drawings, and part specifications


Preferred Qualifications:
  • IPC-A-610 or similar electronics inspection certification
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or RBA standards
  • Additional quality or technical certifications are a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Basic computer literacy (email, Excel, ERP systems)
Work Environment:
  • Clean, climate-controlled warehouse
  • ESD protection is mandatory
  • Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and handling small components
