Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This onsite position offers hands-on experience providing tailored instruction and support to children with diverse learning needs within vibrant educational communities. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to help students thrive both academically and socially during the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification recognized in Nebraska
• Experience working in resource settings with elementary or middle school students
• Solid understanding of Differentiated Instruction and IEP implementation
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility, empathy, and commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and build rapport with students and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
• Deliver engaging lessons and targeted interventions within resource classroom settings
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress toward educational goals
• Partner with general education staff to facilitate differentiation and accommodations
• Use data to inform instruction and adjust strategies for student success
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay current on best practices

This is an onsite role—remote work is not available. Multiple positions are open for both elementary (5) and middle school (1) resource classroom teachers.
