Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview SMG Pediatrics Princess Anne in Virginia Beach, VA is looking to hire an LPN. Up to $8K Sign on Bonus to Qualified Candidate. Location City/State: Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift First (Days) Responsibilities Function under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) in the clinical setting, within the scope of practice dictated by the State Boards of Nursing. Deliver direct patient care with professional and clinical knowledge relative to the designated clinical practice setting, adhering to site-specific competency requirements. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with licensed independent practitioners (Physicians, NPs, PAs) to provide care, treatment, and support for patients and families. Provide clinical support and patient/family teaching; adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing practice. Manage workload accurately, provide excellent customer service, perform testing, medication administration, and implement nursing interventions and care plans to support holistic patient care. Act as a patient advocate in the prevention of illness or disease. Work settings may include hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, or private homes.
