Position: Occupational Therapist (Full-time)

Edenbrook Wisconsin Rapids, a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• To provide quality occupational therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
• To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation, and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.
• To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
• Guide and educate family members and caregivers.
• Observe, note, and report on the progress of long-term and short-term treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• BS degree or greater in occupational therapy.
• Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
