Head of Brand and Content Marketing About the Company Popular B2C marketing platform Industry Marketing and Advertising Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of Marketing to take on a pivotal role in the organization. This is a unique opportunity to be the first dedicated brand and content hire, with the responsibility of building and owning the brand and content strategy from the ground up. The successful candidate will have the freedom to identify the most impactful channels, develop the playbook, and execute with a focus on measurable customer acquisition cost (CAC) impact. The role demands a creative and analytical individual who can seamlessly blend the art and science of marketing, and who is comfortable with the full spectrum of creative production, from concept to launch. The Head of Marketing will work closely with the CMO, managing ad accounts, and will be expected to have a strong understanding of performance economics, including CAC, LTV, and CVR, and how creative decisions influence these metrics. Applicants for the Head of Marketing position at the company should have a proven track record of building brand or content marketing from scratch, particularly in a B2C, product-focused environment. The role requires a candidate who is fluent in performance economics and has experience in managing and directing video-based creative production, including user-generated content. A strong fit for the role would be someone with a background that bridges performance or growth marketing and brand strategy, and who is familiar with short-form video platforms and creative research tools. The ideal candidate will have a direct response experience, with an instinct for content that not only resonates but also converts, and a history of marketing to high-intent consumer audiences. The company values a candidate who can think in funnels, speak in narratives, and is comfortable operating in a founder-led, lean, remote-first environment.
