The facility serves a diverse community across multiple local counties. The department supports a 4:1 RN ratio in the main area and a 3:1 RN ratio in the fast-track area. It is a pediatric readiness facility. An on-site cafeteria is available for staff. The emergency department consists of 29 beds and utilizes additional hallway beds during surges. There is 1 dedicated trauma room and 6 vertical care rooms. The department employs over 120 associates. Providers typically work in teams throughout the night shift. Staff attire includes a navy blue scrub top and bottom. Branding attire is worn on specified days. The role requires a variety of certifications to ensure high standards of patient care.
