Pay Range - $52,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year

Job Description
- Working with a classroom of 7 up to 18 students
- Preparing and implementing large and small group plans that are age-appropriate and meet the IEP goals for each child
- Differentiating instruction across a variety of developmental strengths, needs and diagnoses, as specified on the Individual Education Plan (IEP)
- Administering standardized tests and writing comprehensive reports that are individualized per student strengths and needs
- Presenting information at Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) meetings
- The ability to work collaboratively with classroom staff and a team of professionals
- Communicating clearly and concisely with families, classroom staff, professional colleagues and personnel from other agencies.
REQUIREMENTS: New York State Certification in Special Education (Student with Disabilities Birth to 2nd Grade) is required. Graduates on an active Teacher Certification path will be considered. Experience working in a preschool setting is preferred.

- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
- Special education: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Teaching Certification (Preferred)
- Special Education Certification (Preferred)

- Monday to Friday
Reliable commute or planning to relocate is required before starting work
$17 per hour
