Physical Therapist - Outpatient Contract Position

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Physical Therapist focusing on outpatient therapy. The role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing and implementing treatment plans based on patient needs and physician direction, and ensuring safe and effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care clearly, concisely, and in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in the student program, providing supervision and guidance.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan in conjunction with clinical management.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Schedule

The position offers a 5x8 hours schedule with evaluations lasting 60 minutes followed by 30-minute follow-up sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintains professional licensure in good standing.
