Mental Health LPN Full Time

Effective October 1, 2025 , the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services has transitioned to the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH). All positions now fall under DBH. What You’ll Do Provide medication administration, education, and empowerment to individuals receiving care. Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, and overall progress. Monitor patient health status including vital signs, treatment plan progress, and participation in therapeutic activities. Serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary treatment team focused on patient recovery and wellness. Promote a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment through safety checks, observation rounds, and group facilitation activities. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 of the Ohio Revised Code. Member of the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (ANNAC). Active disciplinary record and current licensing. Proficiency in communications, advocacy, critical thinking, and adaptability. Compensation $26.76 - $33.52 per hour. Normal working hours are 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm and 2nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays. This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit.
