People Operations Manager

A growing life sciences organization in Carlsbad is looking for a People Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day people programs while partnering closely with leadership. This role combines HR operations, employee relations, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and HRIS management. You'll be the person leadership relies on to make sure HR processes actually work — while also serving as a trusted resource for employees.What you'll ownOversee daily People Operations activitiesManage onboarding and offboarding processesPartner with leadership on employee relations mattersAdminister benefits and employee programsMaintain HRIS records and reportingOversee HR documentation and compliancePartner with Payroll on employee changes and payroll accuracySupport performance management programsDevelop and update HR policies and proceduresAssist with recruiting and workforce planningCoordinate employee engagement initiativesMonitor HR metrics and prepare management reportsIdentify opportunities to improve HR processesMaintain compliance with California employment requirements
