Job Description We are looking for a reliable and experienced Sanitation Tech to perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace, contributing to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. Pay Rate : $18.00/hr. The pay used as an hourly rate or range depending on experience, skills, and location. The shift is 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM with weekend work required. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize equipment and workspace in designated areas. Follow seven steps of sanitation and maintain safety compliance. Understand and use chemicals, labeling, PPE, and safety procedures. Maintain attendance and punctuality per company policy. Perform safety tasks such as Lock‑out/Tag‑out (LOTO) and comply with all safety regulations. Work cooperatively with leads and management to ensure all sanitation procedures are followed. Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers; lift 15–50 lbs. Wear employer‑specified PPE including gloves, face shield, eye goggles, apron, boots, and safety glasses. Work in extreme temperature fluctuations and all environmental conditions present in food‑processing plants (hot, cold, loud, wet). Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Safety awareness and attention to detail. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to lift 15–50 lbs. Good communication skills with team members, managers, and customer staff. Ability to take direction and be accountable for own actions. Ability to work scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years of age or older and legally employable in the United States. Project a professional appearance and attitude. Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Qualifications 0–1 year of experience in the food processing industry or another heavy‑industry field. 18 years of age or older.
