Medical Surgical Telemetry RN

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills and have a passion for integrating into our supportive culture dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, typically from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for medical surgical telemetry patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor telemetry patients and coordinate with medical staff for any changes in patient condition.
• Administer IV medications, perform EKGs, and facilitate necessary procedures as dictated by patient needs and protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a high standard of care and support professional growth.
• Participate in code response activities and rapid response teams as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry required; progressive care experience preferred.
• Current RN license and certifications including AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (to be obtained prior to start).
• Experience with the EPIC documentation system within the last 2 years is required.
