Client Service Specialist

LinkedIn: Website: Key Roles / Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound client inquiries across phone, email, voicemail, and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) referrals. Route client requests to the appropriate internal team (Credit, Documentation, Legal, Servicing Operations, Sales) and coordinate timely response. Conduct outbound outreach on accounts in 0-10, 11–12-day past-due window, working with clients to understand their situation and secure payment commitments. Provide payoff quotes, billing information, statement requests, and account documentation to clients accurately and on time. Document every client interaction, commitment, and resolution in Salesforce and the servicing system, maintaining audit-ready records. Monitor open service items, payment commitments, and pending internal responses through to resolution and confirm closure with the client. Escalate signals of client financial stress, operational change, or account-level risk to the Director of Collections with supporting context. Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers to keep the sales team informed of open client service items affecting their accounts. Support clean handoffs to the Collections team when accounts roll into 31+ DPD. Follow company policies and applicable regulations, including FDCPA, ACH/NACHA, UCC, title practices, and privacy requirements. Required Education, Experience, And Qualifications Zero to three years of customer service or related professional experience; experience in equipment finance, commercial lending, banking, or specialty finance preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a structured, in-office environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams); experience with Salesforce or other CRM and loan servicing platforms preferred. Basic understanding of financial statements and commercial lending concepts preferred. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks applicable to commercial lending (FDCPA, ACH/NACHA, UCC, privacy) preferred. Working Conditions Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Positions self to install equipment, including under desks. Moves throughout the building to access files. Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions. Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed. Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
