Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a middle and high school setting, with a flexible, part-time schedule of approximately 8 hours a week. Work closely with a small group of 6-9 students, focusing on speech-language support and collaboration within a friendly, supportive learning community.

The district uses a caseload model and provides both dedicated therapy space and indirect hours for administrative tasks and team meetings, ensuring you’ll have time to focus on what matters most—your students.

What we’re looking for:

• Active Illinois SLP and PEL credentials
• Experience in pediatric, middle, or high school settings
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcome; supervision provided for CFY
• Familiarity with IEP systems (training available on the district’s platform)
• Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to work with educational teams
• Ability to manage a small, focused caseload within one school location

What you’ll do:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services for a caseload of 6-9 students
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school staff
• Document therapy progress and maintain student records
• Benefit from paid indirect hours for administrative and team activities
• Serve students as an itinerant SLP, with paid travel included

This is a contract role providing a flexible, one-day-per-week schedule for the upcoming school year. Interviews are conducted via Zoom, with hiring decisions typically made within 24-48 hours of the interview.
