Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health.

• 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health.

• 6 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. If no prior travel, level 1 trauma will be required.

Required Credentials: Day one pass/fail testing will be administered. Relias practice tests will be available via Relias.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Will be expected to work both days and nights.
• Weekly start dates (Mondays).
• Every other weekend required (Weekends for days - Sat and Sun, weekends for nights will be Fri, Sat, Sun).

Floating Requirements:

• Will float every 4 hours as needed. Will be expected to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and other boarding units.
• Floating occurs in 4 hour blocks while on shift - while floating every 4 hours is rare, it could happen.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
