# SPIRE MALE Student Success Associate## •### @spire\_institute\_academyPosted on 2/19/2026•Full-time## Job Description**Student Success Associate HIRING MALE** SPIRE Academy is a quickly growing elite international boarding Academy, Performance, Camp and multi-sport Event Center. Constructed atop an 800-acre assemblage, the campus hosts over 820,000sf of interior climate-controlled space and is a one-of-a-kind, world-class facility. It is the largest and most comprehensive indoor sports facility in North America. **Position Responsibilities** -Serve as a responsible, adult presence, providing guidance and support in there residence halls and academy for staff and student-athletes. -Assist enforcement of policies and procedures ensuring that the student-athlete code of conduct is being maintained -Escalate student and parent concerns, ensuring that the appropriate staff members are aware of the conditions in the dorm. -Assist Academy staff with task assigned -Promote a positive healthy environment for the student-athletes -Maintain the residential hall, including room checks and headcount -Be aware of student-athletes’ daily schedules holding them accountable to obligations Assist leadership with various projects -Design and implement student life programming as needed -Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes -Other duties as assigned Operations -Monitor students in dorms and throughout campus, including wake up, check-ins and curfew times. -Perform regular walkthroughs and inspections of the residence halls and campus spaces working with maintenance, campus safety, and other departments to coordinate and direct upkeep requests.-Coordinate with safety and academy staff to ensure the safety and security of students and residence halls and academy. -Assist with housing and campus processes including check in/out, early arrival s and opening/closing of residence halls. -Assist academy in day to day operations including; mailroom, substitute teaching, chaperone of student activity and medical appointments -Attend and contribute to department meetings as assigned -Attend and contribute to general planning for Academy and summer camp programs -Participate in rotating shifts as assigned: 7:00am-2:00pm 4:00pm to 11:00pm **SUMMER RESPONSIBILITES** Check-in: All Resident Advisors (RAs) who will be interacting that week must be present to establish the standards and discipline in the dorms. We will set up a table where parents can ask questions during check-in and receive a weekly activities schedule. 1. \*\*Week Prep Names and Dorm Assignments\*\*: These need to be completed no later than Friday at noon, the week prior to camp. A registration cutoff will be established for the week prior, and a list will be provided for each house to be assigned. 2. \*\*Room Assignments\*\*: In the past, we have used a living Google Doc to communicate room assignments. Camp staff will work with coordinators on assigning rooms. 3. \*\*Clean, Neat, and Organized Rooms\*\*: All rooms and common areas should be maintained in a clean and organized manner. 4. \*\*Typical Day Schedule\*\*: - \*\*7:00 AM\*\*: Wake up all the kids and have them out of the dorms. - \*\*7:30 AM\*\*: Walk from your house to breakfast. - \*\*Following Breakfast hand off\*\*: Meeting with camp staff to discuss behavior issues or any areas of concern. - \*\*5:00 PM to 9:00 PM\*\*: Dinner and evening activities support (this will be planned and executed by camp staff but will need RA support. 4th meal execution and potentially convenient store hours similar to Academy year. - \*\*10:00 PM\*\*: Lights out. (security takes over) 5. Every person that lives in your house is a potential Academy student and the expectation is to provide an Academy experience.As of now this is the tentative camp schedule: Week 1 June 15-18 (day only) Week 2 June 22-25 (day and boarding) Week 3 June 29-July 2 (day and boarding) Week 4 July 5-July 10 (day and boarding) Week 5 July 12-17 (day and boarding) Week 6 July 19-24 (day and boarding) Week 7 July 26-31 (day and boarding) Week 8 August 2-7 (day and boarding) Week 9 August 9-14 (day and boarding) Over the course of summer we will have campers, extended stay and current enrolled students on campus and need to plan accordingly. However, the intensity of camps is extremely less then the Academy year so they will be down time, off time for all RAs. We will be able to create a schedule that reflects this (that is the main messaging). \*\* Communication\*\* -Communicate and follow up on conduct expectations of all student-athletes -Communicate and enforce appropriate disciplinary actions for violations -Collaborate and communicate emergency response and crisis management plans for various situations including weather, lockdown, student illness, injury, etc. -Collaborate with departments including sports, academics, health services for student- athlete’s development -Communicate openly and regularly with students and parents/guardians Take detailed notes and communicate areas of note or concern effectively with the primary mentor and other Student Life leadership. \*\*Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities \*\*-Bachelors degree preferred -Must possess good judgment and sensitivity relating to students of various backgrounds -Ability to supervise/redirect students of all age groups and work in student life department on given rotating shifts -Ability to live on Campus as a part of a licenses space agreement -Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and with sensitivity -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Successful passing of background check -Highly organized and responsible with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects effectively -Ability to multitask in a fast-paced organization -A superior work ethic -Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues -Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required -Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, stairs, etc. -This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures in order to meet operational requirements. -Ability to pass (T8 physical along with becoming a registered transportation driver. -Must have a clean driving record and must be insurable for student transporation -Required to disclose any prior convictions or driving points for review prior to employment start dateLocationOn-siteGeneva, OhioPayPay not disclosed #J-18808-Ljbffr
