Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) professional position in North Charleston, SC. This role involves providing advanced circulatory nursing care in a highly specialized surgical environment. The candidate will support procedures including heart and valve replacements, utilizing state-of-the-art robotic equipment, and collaborate with a dedicated cardiac and thoracic team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 3 years of experience as an RN with certifications in BLS. Must have thoracic and vascular experience to include heart and valve replacements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong skills in cardiac (CV/PV), coronary artery bypass grafts, and mitral or aortic valve replacement procedures. Advanced circulating skills, including positioning, prepping, and facilitating surgical cases, are highly desirable.
• Float: Not required.
• Additional Information: The surgical team performs procedures in general, trauma, orthopedic (trauma and elective joints/sports medicine), urology, gynecology, neuro (complex crani and spine), plastic surgery, and robotic-assisted surgeries. The unit operates with a staffing model of 1 RN/1 CST per room, a charge RN, and 4:1 anesthesia coverage, including night shifts. The facility features advanced equipment such as XI Robot, Mako joint robot, and Meditech documentation system. The candidate must start on 10/12/2026 and complete assignment by 01/11/2027.
