Job Description BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. In this role, you will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. You will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment and follow guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs, providing center‑level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS). How you will contribute Determine donor eligibility; manage informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serologic protein electrophoresis (SPE). Evaluate donor reactions at the facility per SOPs; follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies, including development of Center Physician’s standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities. Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, donor safety and eligibility. Support the hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable. Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation required by occupational health/ER, refer to EHS guidance for employee incidents. Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats in the local community per EHS or Medical Affairs. What you bring to Takeda High‑school diploma or graduate‑equivalent recognized nursing program with state requirements. Current state license or certification: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA‑approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
