Led by the Pérez family and a team of the industry's top veterans, Related continues to push the industry bar higher, delivering innovative residential communities that positively transform cities, forge new trails and improve quality of life across all demographics.Job Duties include but are not limited to:(i) To arrange for or conduct market studies and feasibility analysis for acquisition properties and surrounding market areas to confirm and justify the feasibility of such proposed projects.(ii) Review local ordinances to verify approval requirements development restrictions and quantify any and all development fees.(iii) Complete due diligence checklists as directed by the Development Manager (''DM").(iv) Assist DM and consultants in the preparation of applications for all required approvals.(v) Assist the DM to timely procure all regulatory, investor, lender and internal approvals required for the development of the project.( vi) To assist the DM in the preparation of proforma operating statements, construction and operating budgets, and such other financial documentation as may be necessary to support and justify the economic feasibility of such projects.(vii) Review proposed and actual construction and design change orders on projects and ensure that precautions are taken to avoid them in the future.(viii) Maintain orderly project files keeping the same current so that the same may be reviewed by all having access to the same.(ix) To assist the DM with the coordination of the services of lawyers, engineers, architects, surveyors, land planners, and other professionals as may be necessary for the analysis, design, engineering, and construction of such projects.(x) review the progress of construction documents and identify areas inconsistent with budget assumptions and design intent.(xi)To visit the projects monthly or as otherwise directed by the DM and ensure that the plans are being adhered to, desired quality is being achieved and the schedule maintained.(xii) To support the DM in the asset management responsibilities and prepare certifications and documentation for ultimate sale(xiii) To coordinate and cooperate with other employees of Related and its subsidiariesor affiliates, as may be required in the evaluation analysis, acquisition, sale, development, construction. financing, management, or operation of such projects or properties.(xvi) To report to the President of RD, and such other employees of Related or its subsidiaries or affiliates, with regard to his/her duties and the affairs of the RD, as RD may determine to be appropriate or desirable.Experience:3+ years of Development ExperienceBachelors DegreeStrong organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision are required.A basic understanding of construction standards and practices is also needed.Must have multifamily or condominium development experienceProficiency with MS Office Suite, internet research, and project tracking software is necessary.Bilingual in Spanish a plusBenefits as a Related Employee:Base Salary and Performance bonusMedical, dental, vision, legal services, flexible spending account.Employer Match Commuter Benefits.The benefits package includes 100 percent employer-paid life and disability insurance.Employer Matching 401k.Upward MobilityEmployee Engagement and Wellness programs.Company-paid Vacation, Sick, Personal, and Holiday Time.Opportunities for Professional Development and Tuition Reimbursement.The Related Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are a Drug-Free Workplace.Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
